Generating Sticky Notes from Open Question Responses

In this tutorial, we'll show how to visualise your open responses with sticky notes in Figma

Weavely enables transformation of open question responses into visual sticky notes directly in Figma. This allows for easy organisation and visualisation of textual responses.

Would you rather have a Weavely team member explain this to you in a video? Check out this video tutorial:

How to Import Qualitative Data From Forms/Surveys in Figma

Steps

  1. Open the file with your form in Figma and start the Weavely plugin. Go to the results tab.
  2. In the results tab click "Charts" in the bottom left. If you have more than one type of questions in your form, select the short answer question in the Field window. Weavely will then automatically generate a frame with a component of a sticky note and instances of these notes representing the answers.
  3. All set! You can now edit your notes, group them accordingly, etc.
